Held at Centennial High School (a drug, alcohol and tobacco freeschool). Featuring: Music, Carnival Games (Proceeds support many Centennial Clubs) and Spectacular Fireworks at Dark. Food Provided by Shane’s Ribshack. Cotton Candy, Ice Cream and more. Sponsored by Aurora Cineplex and The Fringe, Hands on Family Chiropractic, Wal-Mart, Sams Club, Fulton County Schools.
Annual Big Creek Park Mountain Bike Family Festival

Annual Frances McGahee Youth Day Parade
Held In October
Parade usually begins at 10 am: This event honors and supports the youth of Roswell. Parade line up is at Roswell First Baptist Church and ends in Roswell Area Park. With a new theme every year the parade is always funand unique. Make sure little ones bring a bag to catch all the candy thrown from the floats all up and down the route. Parade applications are made available in August at the Parks & Recreation Department at City Hall. Walk over to the Smith Plantation After for Farm Days at Smith Plantation with a petting zoo, demonstrations, activities, and food available for sale.
Annual Historic Roswell 5K Road Race
Held in October
For runners and walkers; begins at 9:45am, on Mimosa Blvd., prior to the Youth Day Parade in October. Race course goes through Roswell’s beautiful historic district and ends in the Roswell Area Park. Volunteers needed!! For more information call 770-641-3760 or register online at www.active.com.
Family Fun on the Farm

Cagle Dairy tour includes a hayride, herding demonstration, feeding baby calves, cows being milked, and more. The bus will leave the BillJohnson Community Activity Building promptly at 10:00 a.m. Bring a picnic lunch. All Ages

Heck of a Hayride

This old fashioned family outing will begin with a hayride around thepark and end with roasting marshmallows and enjoying a cup of hot cocoa around the campfire. EVERYONE must be registered to attend.All ages Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Roswell Area Park Lake behind the Visual ArtsCenter.

This family event includes carolers from local schools, lighting of TownSquare, a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and a special visit for everyone, Santa Claus! Pictures with Santa available at a nominal fee; holiday shuttle bus is available to the gift shop.
Santa’s Secret Gift Shop

Opens immediately after lighting of the square! Take holiday shuttle to the Adult Recreation Center; children ages 12 and younger can shop,Activities: button making, balloons, coloring and more. Saturday, you can park at the Adult Recreation Center and ride the holiday bus for FREE! to the lighting of Town Square. Shuttle starts at 4:00pm. Pictures available with Santa on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Gifts at affordable prices and proceeds benefit the Roswell Ramblers Senior Club. Concessions available – Held at Adult Recreation Center.

Enjoy a luxurious period dinner at the wonderful Great Oaks or dine at select restaurants along Canton Street Saturday evening and be rewarded if you do so in period dress! We’ll be offering a Period Dress Workshop months in advance to teach you how to make your own.
